Discover the magical Bas-Saguenay winter with a package designed to give you unforgettable emotions in a magical setting. OrganisAction offers you a week of luxurious winter activities in one of the most beautiful coastal villages on the Saguenay Fjord.
Day 0: Our guide will meet you at our boutique in the heart of Saguenay. The first stop will be the Musée du Fjord to learn more about the region's history and wilderness. We'll then head to our chalet in L'Anse St-Jean. Nestled deep in the mountains, L'Anse-Saint-Jean is a unique natural paradise on the shores of the Saguenay Fjord. Its exceptional beauty is recognized by the association des plus beaux villages du Québec. You'll have your first local meal at the chalet with your guides.
Day 1: Dogsledding
After a night's rest and a full breakfast, we're off to the realm of dog sledding for a full day of fun in the snow and mountains. The activity begins with an introduction to the dogs and the sled. You'll drive your own sled (except for young children). The dogs will lead you all day along the small trails specially designed for this activity. You'll stop for dinner in a log cabin around a warm, cozy fire. Your communion with the dogs will raise hidden dimensions in your soul. Your guide will immerse you in local history, and you'll be part of it. You'll round off your day's activities with a pleasant supper in a local restaurant.
Day 3: The secret of ice fishing
This day starts early with a special Quebecois breakfast. We'll head to a secret ice-fishing spot. Upon arrival, the guide will lead you to the best spots to catch fish. After a moment of relaxation in a small cabin, telling fishing stories, we'll return to the chalet. For supper, we'll cook the fish you've caught during the day. Your guide will recount the legends of the place while the campfire sings songs on this beautiful night.
Day 4: Snowshoe trekking
This is a special day as we visit a unique and typical place. You'll see picturesque landscapes and meet all our winter wildlife. After 6 hours in the wilderness, you'll be treated to a sublime boreal dinner in one of the region's renowned restaurants. In the evening, you'll return to the chalet to discover the fishing village by night.
Day 5: skiing and spa
The fifth day is a day of skiing. Together with your guide, you'll decide whether to go downhill or cross-country skiing. Renowned for its exceptional powder snow conditions, Mont-Édouard boasts over thirty trails designed for all calibers of skier. Families, beginners, experts, seasoned telemarkers, snowboarders and alpine adventurers will find challenges for all skill levels. A mountain resort located at an altitude of 635 m, Mont-Édouard offers a wide range of activities for winter lovers.
