Experience Winter in Saguenay

Discover winter and it's wonders in Saguenay. Browse the beautiful scenery of L'Anse-Saint-Jean to La Baie on a snowmobile, then access to your main activity Snowshoeing (possible to change for ice fishing). This package includes an experience guide, all meals and lodging in a yurt.

Day 0 - Arrive at the end of the day at l’Auberge du Camp de Base, 5 Saint-Jean-Baptiste Street, L’Anse-Saint-Jean, Qc G0V 1J0. Free evening.

Day 1 - 8:30 am - Your adventure begins at 162, Route 170 in L’Anse-Saint-Jean, where you will meet your guide. You will learn the basics of snowmobiling, dress with warm outdoor gear and secure your personal luggage on the sled. When ready, you will drive and discover beautiful trails on your way towards La Baie (2 person per snowmobile). Explore the hinterland of villages across your path: L’Anse-Saint-Jean / Rivière-Éternité and St-Félix d’Otis, we plan to be in La Baie around noon, you will be served a warm lunch upon your arrival. Afternoon activity: on snowshoe discover the famous Bec-Scie trails OR drive your snowmobile to your ice fishing spot (extra). At the end of the day you will enjoy dinner in the warm coziness of your Yurt.

Day 2 -After a re energizing night and a continental breakfast, meet your guide at 9am to head the trails back to your starting point in L’Anse-Saint-Jean. Possibility to add another activity to your trip for the afternoon (extra).

What you need to bring;

• Winter underwear / base layer (long sleeve top and bottom)
• Warm socks (wool is great and avoid cotton)
• Fleece, sweater, down and insulated top and bottom layers
• Warm indoor clothing for evening (coton ok), indoor shoes or slippers
• Personal care
• Alpine skiing clothing is recommended with a multi layer approach.

Price for 2 people from $750 (with Explore Québec 35% discount $487,50) per person plus applicable taxes. (Activity substitution; snowshoeing to ice fishing +65$ per person)
